Biography Day

Each student reads about a famous person, then dresses in an outfit depicting their subject. They parade throughout the Lower School so the other students can join in on the fun.

Gifted Explorations…Saturday’s Session Explores Flight
The last Simulation Saturday planned for the 2014-15 school year at Jackson Academy is April 11. Students with gifted aptitudes from JA and other schools have the opportunity to delve into the world of creation and explore new ways of thinking, maximizing the application of knowledge. Fiesta Day
[slideshow_deploy id=’6801′] Sixth grade students enjoyed a Mexican Fiesta Day where they experienced a taste of Mexican culture. The students made colorful paper flowers, ate chips and salsa, and did the Mexican hat dance. This was a fun way to reinforce some of the things they are studying in Social Studies.
