After School Program
A quality, nurturing After School Program is a must for today’s working parents. JA’s After School Program offers weekly options convenient to your schedule and is the perfect alternative to carpools and sitters.
With a staff consisting primarily of JA teachers and assistant teachers, you can be confident in knowing that your child is being cared for and attended to by loving professionals.
JA’s After School Program is available Monday through Friday, starting at 11:45 a.m.–5:30 p.m. for currently enrolled K3 through eighth grade students.

K3 Lunch Bunch
Registration deadline for the 2026–2027 school year is July 31, 2026. A registration fee of $50.00 for K3 and will be added to your Tuition Management account. Contact Hope Burford at 601.368.7398 or hburford@jacksonacademy.org for more information.
K3 Lunch Bunch is available Monday through Friday on days school is in session.
Program Information
- K3 students remain in their classrooms and use the K3 playground.
- Children nap daily during Lunch Bunch.
- Please send a blanket each day. Mats are provided by the school.
- No toys are allowed.

The Jackson Academy K3 After School Program is available Monday through Friday. The program includes Lunch Bunch.
Program Information
- K3 students remain in their classrooms after dismissal and use the K3 playground.
- Students enjoy a daily nap. Please send a blanket, an afternoon snack, and a labeled water bottle with your child each day.
- For an additional fee, students may participate in Auxiliary (Extracurricular) Activities. Information and registration materials will be sent home during the first week of school.
- If Jackson Academy closes due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, the After School Program will also be closed.
- On school holidays when the program is open, hours are 7:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Students should bring a lunch, two snacks, and a labeled drink or water bottle.

- If Jackson Academy closes due to inclement weather or other circumstances beyond our control, the After School Program will also be closed.
- Holiday programs include special activities and field trips. Activity calendars will be distributed in advance.
- Field trips are available for students 2nd–5th grade students.
- For an additional fee, students may participate in Auxiliary (Extracurricular) Activities. Information and registration materials will be sent home during the first week of school.

Program Information
- The Jackson Academy Middle School After School Program is available Monday through Friday on regular school days only.
- The Middle School After School Program is not available on half days, school holidays, or during the summer.
- Students will report to Room C (Upper School Spanish Classroom) after dismissal.
- The program provides a structured environment that promotes homework completion and study time.
- After School staff are available to assist students with homework as needed.
- Every effort has been made to provide a program that meets the needs of both students and parents.
