Congratulations to Lailaa Bashir for being named Metro Girls Athlete of The Week by The Clarion-Ledger. Laila (freshman) won both of her matches last week without dropping a single game. She finished the season unbeaten and didn’t drop a single set all year.
Golf Team Closes Season Ranked Second in State
Congratulations to the Jackson Academy golf team for finishing second in the state Class AAAA Division 1 Golf Tournament. JA finished second shooting 302 at Deerfield. Jack Gnam shot even par and finished fifth in the state.

Congratulations to Sam Ciaccio for being named a Clarion-Ledger baseball top performer. Sam picked up his fourth win of the season throwing a complete game against Magnolia Heights. He allowed one earned run, five hits, and struck out four batters.
