Eleventh grader Thomas Blanks shared wisdom with the Fellowship of Christian Athletes this week. “When someone asks, ‘Who are you?’, What do you think about?” he asked. “Do you identify with the sports you play? Your grades? Your accomplishments?”
For more than ten years, Jackson Academy seniors have mentored kindergarteners through JA’s signature buddy program, Alpha and Omega. The Class of 2024 met the Class of 2036 at the amphitheater for the first in a series of activities: sock day!

The Lady Raiders picked up their first conference win of the season Thursday night defeating the St. Joe Lady Bruins 24-6 in Madison.
On Monday, Jackson Academy hosted a group of schools for a tour and lunch. The 24 participants were part of the MidSouth Association of Independent School program, Education Safari, representing MAIS schools from Mississippi.
Last week, first graders fulfilled a JA tradition: the young Raiders met their Football Buddies! First graders have been looking forward to this meeting since they were in kindergarten.
The Jackson Academy cross country team had its first meet of the new school year on August 21 at the Park Place Invitational in Neely Farms in Magee. Congratulations to everyone who ran yesterday.
