Last week, first graders fulfilled a JA tradition: the young Raiders met their Football Buddies! First graders have been looking forward to this meeting since they were in kindergarten. Students met in the locker room to check out football gear and equipment and bond with their buddies. The younger students gave their older football buddies colored pages with their players’ numbers and the first graders’ artistic flair!
Football Buddies is one of the many JA programs that creates special bonds between Upper and Lower School students. First graders can’t wait to cheer on their buddies for each game. At JA, there is always someone to look up to.
