Seventh Graders Study in World’s Biggest Classroom
Last Friday, 65 seventh graders faced canoes and kayaks down the Okatoma river and pushed off on an adventure. After an early departure from campus and an hour and a half long bus ride, the students were eager to study in the biggest classroom in the world – the great outdoors.
Upper School Students and Faculty Sign Honor Code
Jackson Academy conducted a special ceremony Thursday that focused on the school’s Honor Code. Upper School students and faculty members joined Head of School Palmer Kennedy, Head of Upper School Brandi Richardson, Honor Council Advisor Sandra McKay, and Honor Council Chair Connor Gee in the Performing Arts Center as these leaders presented the ideals of the Jackson Academy Honor Code.

Lady Raiders Volleyball Invited to Nike Tournament of Champions
The Lady Raiders Volleyball team has a storied history, nearly dominating volleyball since the school started the program in the 2011-12 school year. Now the six-time state champion Lady Raiders have been invited to Orlando to play in the Nike Tournament of Champions.

Chapel Services Launch School Year with Messages of Hope
“The antidote to busyness of soul is not sloth and indifference,” Christian author Kevin DeYoung writes in his book Crazy Busy. “The antidote is rest.” At each chapel gathering in Jackson Academy’s Lower, Middle, and Upper School, students and faculty pause in prayer amid a full school day to breathe in worship and reflect on a message drawn from the Bible.
