Senior Chapel

For Senior Chapel each spring, the graduating students don their caps and gowns for the first time and, holding their Alpha and Omega friends by the hand, parade into their final chapel service. There’s nothing quite like the Alpha and Omega program.

JA Band Brings Home Awards

Jackson Academy’s band returned from its Smoky Mountain excursion with three first-place trophies and an abundance of great experiences. The trip centered around the Smoky Mountain Music Festival where the band captured top awards in concert, marching, color guard categories.

Jackson Academy’s show choirs, Showtime and Encore, recently concluded their competition season. Over the past three months, the groups have traveled and competed against some of the top show choirs in the state, the Southeast, and the country, finding success at all levels of competition.

New Members Inducted to Cum Laude Society

Established to recognize scholastic achievement in secondary schools, the Cum Laude Society has granted charters to only four schools in Mississippi. Jackson Academy’s chapter welcomed many new members in an induction ceremony last Tuesday morning.
