Enchanted audiences will be gazing up as Peter Pan and the Darling children fly away to adventures in Neverland. Behind the curtain, crew members will be watching above as they coordinate the fly system.
The National Merit Scholarship Program recognized Jackson Academy seniors Richard “Red” Deaton, Noah Pressler, Gautam Ray, and Titus Taylor as semifinalists on September 13.
Football Buddies is another JA tradition, but this year, teachers and coaches enhanced the program to include more opportunities for buddies to connect. The Raiders visited their first grade buddies in their classrooms for the first time.
The Cheer and Accent campers from this past JA Summer Camp performed at Friday’s football game with the Accents and cheer teams. The young, spirited campers showed off what they had learned during camps this summer. They experienced Friday night under the lights alongside their cheer and Accent role models.

The 85 graduates of the class of 2022-23 marched in procession into The Brickyard in what has become a Jackson Academy tradition. Conducting commencement ceremonies in the outdoor setting started during the pandemic but was so popular that it has continued.
Congratulations to Jackson Academy’s Most Beautiful Mary Elise Lowe and Most Handsome Merritt Nations, and all the beauties and beaus for the 2022-23 school year. They were recognized at recent end of the year awards ceremonies.
As access to and reliance on the internet grows, it is, now more than ever, important to teach students about the right ways to use this powerful tool.
Jackson Academy’s bands and color guard members put together an end-of-the-year performance for JA, held May 2 in the Performing Arts Center. The program featured the Beginner Band, Middle School Band, Upper School Band, and Color Guard, as well as individual soloists.
