On Wednesday, February 1 in the Learning Commons, two senior athletes indicated their intent to play collegiate sports. During the National Signing Day event, DeQuon Sterling signed to play football with Southwest Community College and Austin Ramey signed to play soccer at Dallas Baptist University.

The varsity Lady Raiders were listed in the state’s Super 10 for girls basketball teams Saturday in the Clarion-Ledger. Jackson Academy is the only independent school in the listing. The first Jackson Academy horse show, held November 12-13 at the Canton Multipurpose and Equine Center in Canton, was a huge success.
