Volleyball Continues to Dominate, Winning Eighth State Title in School History

The Lady Raiders defeated MRA 3-0 to bring home JA’s fourth consecutive title. The 2022 team finished the season 40-5, with the losses coming from out-of-state teams. Coach Melissa Denson and the team participated in tournaments such as the Nike Tournament of Champions in Tampa, Florida, and the Private Schools Championships at the University of West Georgia.

Softball is Growing!

When Coach Tyler Parvin joined Jackson Academy four years ago, the softball team could not have a varsity team because there weren’t any players above the ninth grade. During the 2022 season, the team graduated one senior and had 13 sixth graders play, with other teammates coming from grades in between.

Equestrian Team Brings Home Ribbons

The Jackson Academy Equestrian Team rode Saturday and Sunday, September 24 and 25 at Winterview Farm in Madison. The Raiders joined teams from MRA, Prep, and the Southeast region. The team’s next show is November 5 at Winterview, hosted by the St. Andrew’s IEA team.

The Raiders were decked out in the color of hope Friday in observance of Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. The “Go Gold!” themed pep rally was to raise awareness and honor those who have experienced cancer during their childhood.

Monday, May 9, was another very special day on the campus of Jackson Academy for the Class of 2022. Four more seniors, who will be continuing their academic and athletic careers next year, and two Gatorade Players of The Year were honored at a ceremony in the Performing Arts Center.
