On Saturday, August 10, 38 JA seniors served at We Will Go Ministries Food Pantry during Senior Service Day. Head of Upper School Kyle Nichols and his two-year old son, and faculty members Theresa Berman, Gloria Hirn, and Susan Ingram and several senior parents joined in serving food to 100 neighbors in need in downtown Jackson.
As the sun rose on the first day of school, excitement filled the air at Jackson Academy. The senior class marked its “Last First Day” with a special parade from Raider Park to the senior parking lot. Wearing their distinctive senior shirts, the seniors celebrated this milestone moment with socialization and photos to capture this memory.
Each year, the Jackson Academy Association opens the new school year with a festive event for parents, faculty, and staff. A Blue & White Night was held Saturday, August 10, at the Country Club of Jackson.
As summer closed, faculty and staff gathered on campus, attending sessions to sharpen their knowledge and skills and to learn about changes for the school year.

Jackson Academy is pleased to announce the fourth quarter Honor Roll and Academy Honor Roll for the 2023-2024 academic year.
During the 2023-2024 graduation ceremony, the ideas of “turning challenges into benefits” and “succeeding in what matters” resonated deeply. For the first time, Jackson Academy honored co-valedictorians, Mallory Brooks and Gautam Ray, who achieved equivalent grade point averages. Mallory and Gautam delivered inspiring speeches, encouraging their peers to pursue meaningful and purposeful lives.
Jackson Academy’s first-grade students experienced the SOAR program for the first time last week, participating in a “boot camp” designed to teach teamwork and faith principles. Complementing armed forces classroom lessons, the activities emphasized the “Armor of God,” fostering physical and spiritual growth.
Jackson Academy congratulates all students selected by their grade as beauties, beaus, and class favorites.
