Celebrating the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel is a favorite event for Kindergarten students. They enjoy a parade through the preschool dressed in clothes styled after characters from the Dr. Seuss books. Click here to view more photos!

Preschool Patriotic Day

From “Betsy Ross” appearing in the library to making props for the parade, there were all kinds of activities surrounding the annual Patriotic Day parade and assembly. Officer Joseph Chatman was the special guest at the event.
Baseball Home Opener Postponed
Due to possible severe weather on Thursday, the JA Home Opener vs Canton has been rescheduled for Friday at 4pm at Raider Field. There will be no JV game played.
6th Graders Invited to Track & Field
6th graders are eligible to participate in Track and Field at JA. Practice starts Monday the 24th at Raider Park from 3:20 to a little after 4:00 Monday and Wednesday. Lady Raider Softball will be holding a spring Junior Varsity mini-season. JA Hoops Teams Qualify for State AAA Tourney
The JA Lady Raiders and Raiders both advanced in the Quarterfinal (Elimination) Round of the AAA-Division 1 Tournament at Jackson Prep on Thursday. JA Soccer Enters Postseason
The JA Soccer Regular season came to a close on Thursday night with a win over Starkville Academy 1-0. The Raiders start their post season run on Monday at 5:00pm against the Lamar School Raiders at The Brickyard.
