Accelerated Reader Program
Students in second through fourth grades participate in the Accelerated Reader program that encourages a life long love of reading and recognizes the importance of reading comprehension. All tests are taken before or during the school day in either the classroom or library.
All Accelerated Reader quizzes found at the Renaissance Learning link below are available for testing online at Jackson Academy. Click on the link to access the advanced search page where you can search for AR books by Title, Author, Interest Level, Book Level. Fiction/Nonfiction, or Points. Click on the Home Connect link below to check your child’s AR reading progress. Your child will have a username and password that you can use to access this information. You can view the list of tests that are blocked by grade level displayed below. These tests are excluded because they will be read during the school year or will be required reading in certain grades.
