Jackson Academy celebrated the start of football season with its first JV and varsity pep rallies of the year on Thursday and Friday. The JV pep rally featured a camo theme as fans geared up for the matchup against Jackson Prep. Raider spirit squads kept the energy high, and K4 students experienced their very first pep rally.
On Friday, the varsity football team was honored with a “Game Day” themed pep rally, with spirit squads and many students showing their colors by wearing their favorite team jerseys. Students, parents, faculty, and staff came together to cheer on the Raiders before their trip to Oak Forest. The Rowdies also shared a video that added extra spirit and fun to the event.

The enthusiasm continued into Friday night’s game as JA defeated Oak Forest 42-6. The Raider defense held the Yellow Jackets without an offensive score, while the offense powered ahead with six rushing touchdowns to seal a dominant victory. The varsity Raiders are back in action this week at the Brickyard, JV versus Hartfield and Varsity against Leake Academy.
