The halls of Jackson Academy are once again buzzing with energy as the 2025–2026 school year officially begins. The week was a vibrant mix of tradition, new beginnings, and reconnecting with friends. Before the first day, students and families attended orientation and Meet the Teacher events. The air was filled with anticipation and the contagious excitement of a new year full of opportunity.
The first day of school was especially memorable for the senior class. Their final first day began with time-honored traditions, including the Senior Prayer Breakfast which offers a moment for reflection and community. Earlier in the week, they kicked off the fun with a Senior Swim Party and decorated their parking spots with unique designs to mark their places in the much-coveted senior parking lot. Following the breakfast, the Upper School gathered for convocation. Welcomes were extended, new policies were shared, and expectations were set, all with the goal of helping students rise to meet the JA Standard. This collective spirit set a strong, positive tone for the year ahead.
Throughout the week, smiles were abundant as students settled into new routines and reconnected with friends. The first week back was a resounding success, setting the foundation for a year of learning and growth. As we look forward to the upcoming year, we celebrate the unique spirit that makes JA so special. The 2025-2026 school year is officially underway, and the students, faculty, and staff are ready to bloom where they are planted.
