Jackson Academy celebrated Homecoming on Friday, October 17, with a full day of festivities that brought together students, families, and alumni under this year’s theme, “Under the Sea.”
The day began at 10:30 a.m. with a pep rally at The Brickyard, where students got their first glimpse of the homecoming court during an informal presentation. School spirit carried through the afternoon as families prepared for the evening’s main events.

At 5:30 p.m., Sheffield Drive came alive with house parties at marked host homes, welcoming JA families and friends. The “Under the Sea” homecoming parade launched from Raider Park at 6 p.m., winding through Sheffield Drive before arriving at The Brickyard. The colorful procession featured the homecoming court and celebrated this year’s ocean-inspired theme.
JA alumni received complimentary game access with alumni stickers available at all entrances. Kickoff against St. Joseph at 6:30 p.m. drew enthusiastic crowds to cheer on the Raiders.

The highlight of the evening came at halftime with the formal presentation of the homecoming court and the crowning of the homecoming queen. The ceremony honored the court members before revealing this year’s queen, Madi Brewer, amid cheers from students and spectators.
The celebration continued post-game with the homecoming dance at the Country Club of Jackson for tenth through twelfth-grade students. On Saturday morning, JA offered alumni concession stand snacks in The Brickyard and a personalized tour of the campus to show them the school’s advances since their graduation. That evening, JA hosted an Alumni Happy Hour at Little Effie in The District at Eastover for a time of fellowship, food, and, of course, college football. Reunions were also held at various locations, celebrating the classes from 1985, 1995, 2005, 2010, 2015, and 2020.
From the morning pep rally to the alumni reunions, homecoming 2025 showcased the Raider spirit that defines the JA community, bringing together multiple generations to celebrate school pride and tradition.
