Tuesday morning began with sixth graders boarding two buses to head downtown to the Two Mississippi Museums: the Museum of Mississippi History and the Mississippi Civil Rights Museum. Mississippi’s Two Museums bring the state’s history to life in a way that feels personal and immediate, drawing visitors into the defining moments that have shaped Mississippi. After a morning of discovery, the afternoon shifted gears entirely. Students headed to Raider Park for games, activities, and the kind of end-of-year fun that has a way of becoming its own lasting memory.
