AP Art students are currently working on their portfolios. JA Art Instructor Susan Ingram invited the instructor and AP Art students from Prep to join JA students Wednesday, January 10, in the Learning Commons for a portfolio “Show & Tell.” In a collaborative session, students presented and critiqued portfolios and enjoyed pizza for lunch. Ingram said the AP art students did an excellent job representing their work and the JA Art Department.

Middle and Upper School Chapel Begins Semester with Special Guest Speaker
Last week, Middle and Upper School students began the new year with their first chapel of the semester. Special guest Tanner Allen, former Mississippi State baseball player, shared insights from his career in sports and encouraged students to treat others with kindness, reminding them that everyone is made in God’s image.
