Celebrating the birthday of Theodor Seuss Geisel is a favorite event for Kindergarten students. They enjoy a parade through the preschool dressed in clothes styled after characters from the Dr. Seuss books.

Upper School Art Classes Study Mississippi Abstract Artist

Upper School JA students enrolled in art classes visited the Mississippi Museum of Art last week to study a special exhibition of abstract art. The exhibition is devoted to the work of a pioneering, Mississippi-born painter. "Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight" brings together examples of three phases of the artist’s painting practice and features 25 works.

The latest issue of "True Blue," Jackson Academy’s award-winning magazine, is now available online and in print. Published by the Marketing & Communication and Advancement departments, "True Blue" features stories about students, faculty, campus events, alumni, and donor news. You can access the online version now and the print edition begins arriving in mailboxes this week.
