Each year, the Jackson Academy Association opens the new school year with a festive event for parents, faculty, and staff. A Blue & White Night was held Saturday, August 10, at the Country Club of Jackson. The evening event included a silent auction featuring creative work by area artists and students, clothing, travel packages, decor, catering packages, collectibles, jewelry, and many other items. This year the event also featured a drawdown, and Mary Gunn Prewitt won $5,000! Tatum Goodman and Lindsey Armstrong chaired the event. More than 180 Corporate Sponsors, Family Sponsors and True Blue Raiders made this event happen. The JAA thanks you for your support!
Funds raised from A Blue & White Night are used to purchase educational tools for K2-12th grade classrooms; improve campus areas – such as the Performing Arts Center and Raider Field; award grants to faculty members for classroom innovations; and enhance the overall educational experience at JA.
Sponsored by the Jackson Academy Association (JAA), Blue & White Night began in 2014 to bring the JA community together to kick off the school year. All parents are members of the JAA and are invited to volunteer with the parent organization throughout the year. For more information about the JAA, visit https://jacksonacademy.org/jaa/.
