Jackson Academy hosted a group of 24 participants who were part of the MidSouth Association of Independent School program, Education Safari, representing MAIS schools from Mississippi. While here, the group toured and met at five schools during a two-day period. Former JA Headmaster Pat Taylor sets up the programs for Education Safari visits.
Education Safari allows administrators and teachers the opportunity to see how other schools operate. Participants have the opportunity to hear presentations from and talk with individuals in peer institutions who lead the same area they lead at their school. These informative events help all schools involved make improvements and advance their missions.
