Jackson Academy President Cliff Kling was named to the Southern Association of Independent Schools board of directors during the group’s meeting in Atlanta on October 17-19. He will serve a three-year term. Jackson Academy has maintained a presence on the regional and national level in education organizations for many years, helping the school keep current with industry best practices and have a voice in changes that affect education. President Kling currently serves on the board of directors of MISBO, a regional association supporting the operations of over 300 independent schools.

Volleyball Program Nurtures Outstanding Scholar-Athletes
Members of the varsity and JA volleyball teams completed another year developing athletically, and academically, completing the season ranked at the top of their sport. The JV team finished as MAIS JV State Champions with a 29-1-1 record. The varsity team finished with a 30-16 season, 9-3 in conference play, and as MAIS Division 1 State Runner-Ups.
