Jackson Academy hosted its annual Christmas with the Arts celebration, bringing together students from across the visual and performing arts programs for an evening of festive performances. The Performing Arts Center lobby showcased artwork from Lower School students, including elf creations from second and third graders. Ten of these student-designed elves were brought to life on stage by JA Theatre students in a special performance that connected younger artists with the Upper School performers.

The evening featured a diverse lineup of performances that highlighted the depth of talent within JA’s performing arts programs. The JA Band Color Guard opened the show, followed by first-time performances from younger band members taking the stage. Showtime and Encore, Jackson Academy’s award-winning show choirs, delivered energetic holiday performances, while theatre students presented an a cappella number. The full concert band rounded out the program with seasonal favorites that filled the PAC with holiday spirit.
The celebration concluded with a moving rendition of “Silent Night” as performers and audience members joined together in song, accompanied by candlelight that illuminated the theater. Christmas with the Arts is a school-wide celebration of the holiday season hosted by the Performing Arts Departments, and this year’s event once again demonstrated the exceptional talent and dedication of Jackson Academy’s student performers. The annual tradition continues to bring the JA community together in celebration of the Christmas season and the performing arts.
