This morning Jackson Academy trustees, faculty, staff, and students gathered for a celebration. The groundbreaking for expanding the Middle School is part of JA’s multi-phase facilities master plan that launched in August 2022 with infrastructure improvements.
SOAR Director Dean Arnold spoke to this morning’s Upper and Middle School Chapel about childlike faith. Arnold referred to Matthew 18:1-4, “Whoever humbles himself like this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.”
JA student artists submitted their work to the 2022 Art Competition. Winners were recognized Sunday, October 16 in the Performing Arts Center. Fifty-four pieces of amazing talent, creativity, and imagination were submitted.

Malinda Battey, Executive Director for the MathCounts program was on campus Thursday to recognize Jack Voyles as a Top 10 State Finalist in a math competition held this spring.
A major goal of the Middle School at Jackson Academy is to deepen subject matter expertise. Fifth and sixth grade English teachers Grace Simmons and Mallory Gnemi took that challenge to another level.
Jackson Academy’s show choirs, Showtime and Encore, recently concluded their competition season. Over the past three months, the groups have traveled and competed against some of the top show choirs in the state, the Southeast, and the country, finding success at all levels of competition.
