Jackson Academy alumni returned to campus during Homecoming weekend in October, reconnecting with former classmates across multiple days of festivities.
The celebration began with a Brickyard pep rally energizing the crowd before Friday night’s football game. Sheffield homes hosted pre-parade parties as students, alumni, and families gathered to watch decorated golf carts showcasing the “Under the Sea” theme parade through campus, honoring the Homecoming Court. The court was formally presented during halftime ceremonies.
Saturday morning, alumni toured campus to see updated facilities and new academic spaces, witnessing how JA continues to evolve while maintaining its core mission and traditions.
The reunion atmosphere continued with a Saturday afternoon happy hour at Little Effie’s, where alumni from various graduating classes mixed and mingled, sharing stories about careers, families, and JA memories. The relaxed setting fostered connections across different eras of Raiders.
Saturday evening featured additional gatherings as specific classes and friend groups organized their own reunions, allowing closer connections among classmates who shared particular bonds from their time at JA.
The weekend demonstrated the lasting impact of the JA experience, drawing alumni back to celebrate Homecoming traditions and the enduring relationships that define what it means to be a Raider.
