JA senior State Champion cheerleaders and Accents once again performed at the annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City on Thanksgiving Day. All of JA’s seniors performed together in the cheer segment between 11 and 11:30 a.m. Prior to the parade, Accents and cheerleaders participated in daily clinics to learn choreography with hundreds of other cheerleaders and dancers from all over the country.
Many families took part in the trip, creating a large JA contingency. Family members ventured to the parade route as early as 4:30 a.m., staking out a location to see the JA team perform. Families also dined together at Carmine’s in New York City. Go Raiders!
