The K3, K4, and K5 Library fills students’ imaginations with the stuff of wildly fun stories and amazing legends. Students experience literature in tactile ways, connecting stories to experiences that cultivate the joy of learning.
The Birthday Club
The K3, K4, and K5 Library offers a program where parents donate a book in honor of their child’s birthday. Students whose parents elect for them to participate become members of the birthday club, which includes:
- Having a bookplate placed in the front of the donated book recognizing the person honored and acknowledging the donor
- The birthday boy or girl gets to sign the bookplate
- The book is read during the honoree’s library period
- The honoree gets a special Library Birthday Club ribbon and has a picture made to go in our Library Hall of Fame for the year
