Jackson Academy’s fall athletes played exciting and rewarding seasons this semester, and celebrated together as circumstances allowed. Players and fans alike overcame the challenges of playing and supporting sports during the COVID-19 pandemic. The Lady Raider softball team developed a foundation of growth and resilience during the 2020 season, which came to an end in early October. Reflecting on the season, Coach Tyler Parvin said, “I hope that when people look back and reflect on this season, they look beyond the record to the fact that in almost every game we played this year we were competitive. The girls showed so much improvement and fight throughout. Our school should be excited for the future of these young girls in the years to come.”
