Each year on Giving Tuesday, Jackson Academy alumni, families, and friends join millions of people worldwide in expressing their generosity. Supporting JA's mission with a gift is one significant way to benefit students as they grow to become people of purpose and significance. As JA guides students in developing bright minds and good hearts, students are better equipped to improve their world. Join alumni, families, and friends in raising funds to enhance the student experience on Giving Tuesday.
JA’s second graders spend time in physical education class developing fine motor skills, sequencing skills, self-confidence, and teamwork. Known collectively as the Little Dribblers, these hard-working students demonstrate what they have learned to a packed Raider Dome during halftime of the varsity girls basketball games. The Little Dribblers program continues as one of JA’s much-anticipated basketball season traditions. It is fondly remembered, with Little Dribblers keeping their T-shirts and second-grader-sized basketballs throughout the years. Some Little Dribblers even remember their routines years after their performances.
Here are some check-in questions to ask yourself each day during this busy season to keep you happy and healthy during what can be a stressful time for students and families.
