An abundance of blue and white, along with Stetsons, denim, and boots mixed in, filled the Country Club of Jackson as more than 450 Jackson Academy family and friends gathered for A Blue & White Night, kicking off the new school year in Western style.
Sponsored by the JAA, the evening brought great food, good conversation, and a silent auction featuring items donated by many of JA’s community partners. The Honky Tonk Playboys, including band members Nick Miller, a JA parent, and Brett Warren, JV football coach, enlivened the atmosphere throughout the night.
Mandy Reeves took home the evening’s most talked-about prize: a diamond tennis necklace valued at $4,500, donated by Brooks Collection. Aimee Odom, Jesse Taylor and Eddie Wettach won the faculty raffles.
This year’s crowd raised more than ever before, with funds going straight into the programs, tools and experiences that shape a JA education.
Thank you, JAA! And thank you, Raiders, for showing up for our students.
