Sophomores through seniors attended the annual College Fair by grade today, speaking with representatives about admission processes, entrance requirements, majors, activities, and student life. Students met face-to-face with Admission officers and alumni who represented colleges and universities throughout the nation. This year, JA welcomed 65 institutions of higher learning.
Liberal arts colleges, community colleges, regional universities, and military academies sent representatives, giving students a first-hand account of what those institutions offer and the variety of higher education opportunities available. State universities frequently send multiple divisions to JA’s College Fair, including representatives of their Honors Colleges and their professional programs, such as the Colleges of Engineering, Accountancy, and Pharmacy, to name a few.

The College Fair, held in the Performing Arts Center Gallery, is sponsored by the JA Counseling Office and coordinated by College Counselor Amy Bush. This team’s efforts ensure that seniors can make informed decisions about their future. At the same time, sophomores and juniors can begin their college search with confidence.
