More than 100 campers came together at Raider Park for Jackson Academy’s Season Opener Baseball Camp. Head Coach Corey Dickerson, his elite coaching staff, and the varsity baseball team spent the morning helping young athletes in the Jackson area sharpen their skills in preparation for the upcoming season.

Campers learned from JA’s Head Baseball Coach, 11-year Major League Baseball veteran Corey Dickerson and his experienced staff. A dedicated leader on and off the field, Coach Dickerson is overseeing the development of JA’s baseball program with a passion for building athletes of character while guiding them to reach their peak potential.

Through focused technique, drills, and a whole lot of teamwork, this amazing group of coaches and players created a fun and inspiring atmosphere to build not just skills, but a true love for the game. The first through sixth graders got to interact with the Raiders and learn more about what the sport looks like at the varsity level.

The JA varsity baseball crew held its season opener game on Monday, February 10 at Raider Park and will play again at Raider Park Friday at 4 p.m. Visit the Raiders’ Varsity and JV schedules over at GoRaiders.org.
