Jackson Academy’s varsity Raiders entered the MAIS 6A State Tournament at Hartfield Academy on February 14. With back-to-back wins under their belt, the Raiders are headed to the Overall Championship at Mississippi College.
The Raiders started the state tournament in a game against St. Joseph – Madison, which they won 51-32. The next night they took on Hartfield, moving through three overtimes before finally sealing the victory 65-54.
On Monday, February 24, the Raiders will meet Simpson Academy at 3:30 p.m. at Mississippi College in Overall tournament competition. Come out to support the Raiders Monday!
