Promising Leaders Gain Experience in Youth Programs

Two of the students who have initiated learning about leadership this academic year include Miley Williams and Alex Davis.

Jackson Academy students take advantage of opportunities to develop skills by applying for leadership programs through various organizations. We congratulate the following students for their initiative and interest in learning about leadership this academic year.

  • Ava Bondurant, Sophomore – Gluckstadt Mayor’s Youth Council
  • Ella Boykin, Senior – Youth Leadership Jackson 2025
  • Mary Lamar Chustz, Junior – Madison County Youth Leadership
  • Alex Davis, Senior – Gluckstadt Mayor’s Youth Council
  • Shelby Grant, Junior – Gluckstadt Mayor’s Youth Council – Applied for and was elected vice president youth council
  • Steven Hederman, Sophomore – Nominated by faculty to attend the HOBY Youth Leadership Seminar in May
  • Avery Pickering, Sophomore – Youth Leadership Jackson 2025
  • Lynnzee Stapleton, Senior – Applied and was accepted to the College Board’s BigFuture® Ambassadors program for fall 2024
  • Miley Williams, Sophomore – Youth Leadership Jackson
