Families filled the Performing Arts Center auditorium Thursday morning as Jackson Academy’s Middle School paused to recognize the hard work, dedication, and achievement of its students at the annual Middle School Awards Day ceremony. The event brought together parents, teachers, and administrators to celebrate a year of academic excellence, leadership, and competitive achievement.
The ceremony was shaped by student voices from its opening moments, as Middle School students took the lead in welcoming guests, reading Scripture, offering prayer, and leading the Pledge of Allegiance.
The program recognized students across a range of categories, including academic awards, honor roll, and recipients of endowed memorial scholarships. Student council representatives were acknowledged for their leadership and service to the Middle School community, and students who competed in MAIS and school competitions throughout the year received recognition for their efforts and accomplishments.
Faculty and parents were also thanked for the irreplaceable role they play in student success. Their steady encouragement and investment in the lives of JA’s sixth, seventh, and eighth graders, administrators noted, make moments like Thursday possible.
