Middle School Combines Halloween and Giving

November 3, 2020 / Middle School/Upper School/All News

Just prior to Halloween, seventh and eighth grade students divided into groups by their birthday months and visited outdoor areas on campus designated for trick or treating. Middle School Student Council members offering handfuls of candy were waiting! Students could dress in Halloween-colored shirts and jeans or uniform bottoms for the day. To participate in trick or treating or dress-up, students made a contribution to raise funds for Stewpot, to help feed and nurture individuals in our local community.

Ninth and tenth grade students raised money for Student Council Christmas projects by braving entry into a Haunted House Thursday evening at the home of Lauren and Reid Lester. About 100 students attended this first-year event that is sure to become a tradition! Students enjoyed the Haunted House plus pizza and dessert.
