Showtime and Encore competed Friday morning, November 3, at Riverland Choral Festival in Pearl. This was the first competition of the groups’ regular season, which officially kicks off in January. Both show choirs received superior ratings at the festival.
Showtime has 50 sixth through eighth graders and is under the direction of Emily Greene. Encore, directed by Garrett Lindsey, is made up of 48 singer dancers and 10 crew members. Students in ninth through twelfth participate in Encore.
