Congratulations to Daniel Kennedy for being named Jackson Touchdown Club Player of the Week, Clarion Ledger Top Performer and BankPlus Blitz 16 Player of The Week. He had 122 yards on 13 carries with 3 touchdowns in the 24-14 win over Prep and registered 9 tackles (3 solo) and a Pass Break Up on Defense.

Upper School Art Classes Study Mississippi Abstract Artist

Upper School JA students enrolled in art classes visited the Mississippi Museum of Art last week to study a special exhibition of abstract art. The exhibition is devoted to the work of a pioneering, Mississippi-born painter. "Joe Overstreet: Taking Flight" brings together examples of three phases of the artist’s painting practice and features 25 works.

Published by the Marketing & Communication and Advancement departments, "True Blue" features stories about students, faculty, campus events, alumni, and donor news. You can access the online version now and the print edition begins arriving in mailboxes this week.
