There’s just something special about grandparents. Grandparents of first-graders experienced a day in the life of their grandchildren at JA on Friday.
Grandparents learned about the coding their students do in STEM class. The first grade students showed off their reading skills in the Lower School Library by reading a book to their grandparents. In music class, students sang about how thankful they are for their grandparents. Next, students showed off their Spanish skills, leaving the room of grandparents shocked by their knowledge of the language. Grandparents and their first-graders finished off the morning with refreshments in the PAC.
