One campus yields significant results for mentorships among grades. Cross country team members serve as role models for JA’s Running Club members. At the buddy run, students ran together at The Brickyard while chatting about running, school, and more. “What may have seemed like a small thing to you played a big part in their day!” Assistant Cross Country Coach Ashley Googe told the team.
Running Club members look up to the cross country team more than they realize. Several Running Club members logged their quickest times, which means they were motivated, and several asked cross country coaches what grade they had to be in to join the team. Coaches could all agree that the Buddy Run was something special.
