College Fair Connects Students with Opportunities

JA sponsors an annual College Fair where students meet face-to-face with more than 60 Admission officers and alumni representing colleges and universities throughout the country. Today, seniors through sophomores attended the College Fair by grade, speaking with representatives about the admission process, entrance requirements, majors, activities, and student life.

State universities are represented by multiple divisions within their university, such as their Honors Colleges and Colleges of Engineering, Accountancy, and Pharmacy, to name a few. Liberal arts colleges, community colleges, regional universities, and military academies send representatives to the JA College Fair, helping students learn more about what those institutions offer and the variety of higher education opportunities available.

The College Fair, held in the Performing Arts Center Gallery, is sponsored by the JA Counseling Office and coordinated by College Counselor Amy Bush. Their efforts ensure that seniors can make informed decisions about their future, while sophomores and juniors can begin their college search with confidence.
