Jackson Academy junior Aniya Bradley earned academic honors from the College Board National Recognition Programs. These programs showcase students’ strong academic performance and celebrate their hard work in high school.
“Being recognized shows me that my hard work, focus, and determination grant rewards,” Aniya said. “It also inspires me to maintain my efforts in my studies.”
Her outstanding performance on the PSAT and academic achievements at JA earned the College Board’s National African American Recognition Award.
Aniya is in Mu Alpha Theta, the National Honor Society, and the Service Club at JA. At her church, she participates in choir and dance. Her favorite subject is history. “I’m able to see how past events have shaped and impacted the world we live in today,” she said.
Head of Upper School Brandi Richardson said JA is thrilled when students are recognized for their academic achievements.
“The College Board is a respected institution with high standards for the academic programs offered in the Advanced Placement program, so being recognized by the College Board is an accomplishment to celebrate!” she said.
The criteria for eligible students include:
- GPA of 3.5 or higher.
