Please join us for informal parent workshops offered to help with a variety of “hot topics” faced by parents and students today. Feel free to come listen and learn. Each session will last one hour and will be held in the PAC (Black Box Theatre). The Third Thursday workshops are free of charge.

Reading Readiness and Vocabulary Development

Learn the nuts and bolts of early reading and spelling skills and techniques to strengthen the youngest readers. Building vocabulary is key in strong reading comprehension and application of reading skills. Brain based techniques will be shared to give those working with young children ways to build and enhance a strong foundation for a solid future in reading.
