Congratulations to the Varsity and Junior High Girls Track Teams for repeating as North AAA Track & Field Champions last week in Greenville, MS.

Congrats to Kate McDowell for breaking the JA School Record for 3200 meters at 12:37 previously set by Taylor Pearson in 2008.

Curt Knight also set a new MAIS North AAA 3200 record with a time of 10:05.

JA will be hosting the MAIS Class A, AA, AAA Field events Friday 9:00-3:00.

The running events will be held Saturday at Jackson Prep.

Due to Monday’s rain in Columbus, the JA vs Heritage Varsity and B-Team games scheduled for Tuesday, April 15th have been moved to Wednesday April 16th. The new times are as follows:

**Entries will be done online @ MS Mile Split. You must have a mile split account to enter.
**The password for the meet is raiders.
**Throwing implements will be weighed in at the JA tent on the infield between 8:00 and 9:00.
**There will be a coaches meeting in the JA tent at 8:30. Please be present and punctual.
**We will need your help in the field events. Please have one Coach per school prepared to help.

Due to rising flood waters beyond the outfield fence at Raider Field, half of the outfield is under water and therefore will not be available on Saturday. So the JA vs St. Andrews game scheduled for Saturday, April 12th will be played in Ridgeland and has been moved up to 4pm.

The Baseball Conference Double Header between JA and Magnolia Heights which was previously scheduled to start at 4p on Thursday has been moved back an hour to 5p in Senatobia. Game 2 will follow around 7p.
