Soar-Main-Image

JA’s Soar program began as a beloved seventh grade rafting trip tradition. It has been enhanced and expanded to focus on ethics, faith, service, and leadership throughout the school. Students in fifth through twelfth grades take part in outdoor activities that develop their teamwork and leadership skills. The program is designed to strengthen students for life’s journey ahead. Soar opportunities help students grow through experiential learning outside the classroom and leadership and involvement in the community.

Soar service opportunities begin as early as first grade, helping students learn ethics and grow spiritually. The program involves volunteers made up of counselors, teachers, staff, and parents who help mentor and foster students potential outside the classroom.
