The Kindergarten Library offers a program where parents can give a book in honor of their child’s birthday; the child then becomes a member of the birthday club which includes:
- Having a bookplate placed in the front of the donated book recognizing the person honored and acknowledging the donor
- The birthday boy or girl gets to sign the bookplate
- The book is read during the honoree’s library period
- Honoree gets a special Library Birthday Club ribbon and has a picture made to go in our Library Hall of Fame for the year
