Employment Opportunities
One common thread weaves its way through faculty and staff experiences: JA’s community has impacted their lives in a positive way.
Welcome to Jackson Academy’s Online Application page for faculty and staff positions. Settled in the Sheffield Drive neighborhood of northeast Jackson, Mississippi, JA is an independent, college preparatory day school serving grades K3-twelve. The 38-acre campus has been described as one of the finest school environments among the Midsouth Association of Independent Schools.
While location and facilities are important, the heart of a school is made up of teachers who know students individually and care about them personally. Southern Association of Independent School surveys tell us our faculty do just that. JA’s 200 professional faculty and staff serve 1,200 students. And on multiple occasions, The Clarion-Ledger’s Best of Mississippi poll has named JA the “Best Place to Work” and recognized JA faculty members as “Best Teacher.”
