Sharpen and Hone Skills with JA’s
Subject-specific Academic Workshops

Jackson Academy’s Subject-specific Academic Workshops are designed for rising ninth through twelfth-grade students. Sessions will review and preview material to prepare students for their 2020-2021 academic journey.  

Workshop choices include algebra I, algebra II, geometry, biology I, and executive function skills. The executive function skills workshop helps students develop stronger reading, listening, note-taking, and test-taking skills, and gives guidance for setting goals, managing stress, and understanding individual learning styles. 

  • Workshops for rising ninth through twelfth-grade students are scheduled for Monday-Thursday July 27 through 30, for two hours each day.
  • Session Times: ninth through twelfth grades – 1:00-3:00 p.m.; Upper School executive function – 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  • Cost: $215 per workshop
  • Spots are limited.
  • Online registration ends at noon on July 24.
  • All workshops are planned to be on campus and in person unless city or state ordinances change due to COVID-19.
