Grandparents Experience What Middle School is Like
Many grandparents of Middle School students traveled to JA Thursday to get a glimpse of modern school life… and to remember their own school days. They cheered at a JV pep rally where they participated in a Hula Hoop contest.
Middle School Students Are Large Part of ‘Peter Pan’ Cast
Alongside Upper School students portraying characters such as Peter, Wendy, and Captain Hook, 18 Jackson Academy Middle School students have roles in the upcoming production “Peter Pan: A Musical Adventure.” The musical is October 21-23 in the JA Performing Arts Center.

Band and Color Guard Program Showcases Talent
Jackson Academy’s bands and color guard members put together an end-of-the-year performance for JA, held May 2 in the Performing Arts Center. The program featured the Beginner Band, Middle School Band, Upper School Band, and Color Guard, as well as individual soloists.

Students and Faculty Look Forward to New Middle School
Did you know that “foundation” is mentioned 80 times in the Bible? Rising Middle School students and faculty gathered to sign their names and Bible verses on the last beam to go up in what will be the new Middle School.
Middle School Valentine’s Bible Study
On Valentine’s Day, seventh and eighth-grade girls came together for Bible study discussions about friendships and more. The Bible study was led by the Middle School literature teacher Shelle Pinkard. The girls talked about their Middle School days.
Learning about the Lungs
Ashley Adcock’s fifth-grade science students learned about the respiratory system and how air moves through the lungs. Students had a week full of related activities.
