The JAA manages the following programs for JA students and faculty.
The JAA Uniform Exchange will be held on July 15, 2017. We accept gently used uniforms in exchange for a voucher. We will also accept uniforms on July 13th & 14th. Times for drop off and volunteer opportunities for this event will be announced.
Student Receptions & Parties
The JAA hosts many receptions and parties for students throughout the school year. These include welcome receptions for new JA students, preschool tea parties and a Christmas Open House, Book Buddy & Raider Reader parties, and receptions for graduation and class day.
Faculty & Staff Appreciation Activities
The JAA appreciates our faculty and staff. To show our appreciation, annual lunches and events are hosted by the JAA. From Christmas goodies in the break room to meals provided during Teacher Work Week, the JAA works hard to keep our faculty and staff happy and healthy!
The JAA enables 12th grade students to prepare for college by hosting a College Fair and ACT prep classes. The College Fair provides students with enrollment information on top colleges. The ACT prep classes help to prepare students to take their ACT exam for college entry.

Moms in Prayer
The JAA invites all JA mothers to be a part of Moms in Prayer. Moms in Prayer meets as a group every Monday morning at 8:00 AM in the Performing Arts Center at JA. This group spends time weekly praying for students, faculty, and staff throughout the year.
Through JA Cares, the JAA is able to reach out to JA families and faculty in times of need. Whether it’s surgery, extended illness, loss of a loved one or the celebration of a new life, JA Cares provides support for our JA families at times when they need it the most.
The JAA makes shopping for school supplies simple! Parents with children in Grades 1-8 can pre-order required school supplies. Supplies for Grades 1-6 will be delivered to your child’s classroom, and supplies for Grades 7-8 will be delivered directly to your home.
In addition to the above programs, the JAA provides support in many other areas. These areas include performing arts programs, assistance with vision, speech and hearing testing for students, the publication of Images, the student literary magazine, and much more.
